Is anybody from the Harper’s Ferry area? I saw on Grey Larsen’s site that he will be teaching at the Upper Potomac Celtic Weekend this fall. When I follow the link, it goes to 2004 information site for the event. The e-mail for more info link is a bad address. I really want to sign up for this and make sure I get in. My family is not interested in Irish music, so they have nixed going to Augusta, Catskills, etc for the weeklong summer classes. So I am searching for a long weekend type of retreat that I can go to.

So, in short, does anybody know about the Upper Potomac event or any other similar things I could go to this year, preferably driving distance from DC area?

I just went to the Fiddle Retreat in January and had a good time. If you e-mail her and ask her to put you on the mailing list, you’ll hear as soon as anyone else does.

I have talked with her, and she said I am the first one to contact her. I had the letters in the e-mail address switched around originally. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun.
