Have any of us played any of these whistles yet?

Dale!! No fair!! He posted twice in one month!!

Just kidding Jetboy…
Your metal whistles look really nice, but I did not see any wooden ones on your website. For some strange reason, those were the ones I was really interested in…

Hi Paul,

Pennies for penny whistles in pencil boxes :sunglasses:

Now, how come non tubable?

NOBODY has played these whistles before! 'Cept me of course. I have given the one that you see in the website to my teacher, mentor and semi-professional whistler. (www.carasmusic.com) I hope to have a recording to post pretty soon so you can all hear what it sounds like. Not at all recorder-like and this one is very loud especially in the upper register.

Norcal Musician has a copper Sop and Low D, and a lady from Ohio who’s handle I cannot remember has a Sop D too.

You should try talking to a couple of people here whom are well trusted by the community, (maybe Dale, if he’d be up to it), and see if they would try out one or two of your whistles for a review to be posted. Worth a shot if you can find someone to do it.

Norcal Musician has promised to do something with his samples, a ‘Weston Tour’ or something around his community and do an amagamated review of all the impressions. Something like that anyway. I am in his capable hands so to speak!
