Two Whistles For Sale

Good stuff.

Raindog,
Point of reference… nearly all manufacturers offer free product for review; It’s not considered a bribe.

The first product received a bad review, the second product received a better review.

People, this thread is getting out of hand - let’s stop the language and the swinging handbags, it’s not necessary.

Altough I’m always desperate for cash, I hope I’ll never be desperate enough to do things that go against my way of thinking. It’s scary, could honnestly happen to any of us.

all I have to say is

IT’S SICKENING!!@

Ah, drama, what would we do without thee?

There have been several whistle makers on this board who have shown us that they can’t take criticism on any level… Stacey being one of them.

Sorry but I feel you have been a smidge unfair, Is has only been two people that I did not enjoy thier comments, and It would appear that they also can,t stand criticism on any level.

SOOOOOO; who wants to send me a whistle. My highend whistle is a Gen Bb (given to me by a selfless chiff and fippler), I know 5 songs, my dog leaves the room when I play. Just email me and I will send you my address.
This is the sorriest thread I have ever read in this forum.

Peace

Tom

Dear Mr Blackbeer,

Please would you accept a free whistle for review. This exclusive hi AND low D also plays in any other key. It is crafted from solid platinum, encrusted with diamonds and genuine Irish Green emeralds. Internal perturbations are lovingly crafted with the last available pieces of Pink Ivorywood on the planet, thus ensuring that magic “wooden” tone.
Thanks for your sense of humour, my friend!!!
Best wishes to you,
Adrian.

P.S. On a serious note, I was disheartened by the attacks on Loren. I for one have valued his contributions to this forum, and enjoy his “straight talking” approach. 'Nuff said.

Just want to make sure I have the facts here. Stacy sent Loren a whistle unsolicited and told him he could have it for free in exchange for a review. He did a review, a very heated one but a review nonetheless, and now wants to get rid of the whistle because he doesn’t like it. Stacy agrees that the whistle is his to do what he wants with it. I’m not seeing what the problem is.

Loren didn’t solicit for a free whistle or make any promise that he wouldn’t sell it, destroy it, give it away, or run it over in his car in a fit of rage. He also is not a professional reviewer. He’s just another player on the board like the rest of us. Let the man sell the whistle to whomever will buy it and be done with it. He may have shot himself in the foot on this sale by posting the review as he did but I’m not seeing why some of you are giving him a hard time about making the attempt.

Stacy got a good review from Dale, which is probably where the whistle should have gone to begin with. Chalk it up as a learning experience and move on.

OK, move along everyone, nothing to see here, keep moving…

JMHO…opinions may vary.

Loren, check your private messages please.
