Anybody tried a Jerry Freeman tweaked Shaw high D ?

Yes, I have one and I love it! It takes a little practice to get into the upper half of the upper register without some screeches, but once you manage that, it really sounds great. It’s a solidly made whistle, and I think it’s one of the best of the conical whistles available. Of course, a number of comments made about the Shaw tell you to get the Freeman Tweaked version; the originals take a lot of wind (no problem I suppose if you’re a piper.) Hope this helps.

It was my second whistle, after a Freeman Tweaked Sweetone.
Great whistle! I have a couple “high end” whistles, yet I still play the Shaw on occasion.
The Shaw looks similar to a natural Clarke original. But, do they sound similar?
