I know no. 1 as āThe cow that ate the blanketā but thatās one of those names youāll see attached to more than one tune
No. 2 I hear all the time, canāt think of the name.
Now I remember where Iāve heard the second tune - learned it not long ago from a banjo player who says he got it from a recording of Kevin Griffin, who plays this and another jig in the key of E apparently.
Hmm how useful is that?
Second tune sounds a bit like Tobinās Favourite? 
Yep, it does. I mentioned that to the person who gave it to me. That person, by the way, calls them Ballydesmond Jig 1 and Ballydesmond Jig 2, but said that was just what she calls themā¦not the proper names.
