Folks,
first one: http://home.arcor.de/vudu/tune.mp3
Can’t remember where or how I learned it, but that spooks around in my head for months now and I just didn’t find anyone I could ask about.
Dunno if it’s played correctly, since - as said - I don’t know where I learned it.
I got the second one from the Bleazey PROfile from Phil Hardy’s web page: http://home.arcor.de/vudu/tune2.mp3
Does anybody know the names of those two tunes?
Thanks in advance.
The first tune is called The Joy of my Life or Donnybrook Fair depending on who you are talking to. I don’t know the Phil Hardy one.

The second tune is “Joe’s Tuxedo”, penned by John McCusker. It’s the second tune on Track 4 of McCusker’s album Yella Hoose.

That first one Donnybrook fair is a Jig so it should have more of a jig rhythm to it. Your notes seem to be all pretty much the same length so lacking in that rhythm.
