With our cable service (RoadRunner) I cancelled AOL, although I still have the free version. AOL is a resource hog, so I’d like to uninstall it entirely and just use Internet Explorer. Trouble is, I have a LOT of “favorite places” that I’d like to keep, rather than trying to track them all down one at a time in IE. Is there any way to transfer the favorite places directly over to IE bookmarks?
See if you can find a “Favorites” folder on your computer. If so, it should be relatively easy to copy it and the contents (URL’s) over to a disc or something and alow you to import them. Also, IE may have an import feature but since I use Mozilla Firefox anyway I don’t remember for certain. You can also save all your URS’s into something like a word document, and then open them each in the new browser and save them then as a favorite. Much longer, but it works. ![]()
