Trading

I’m looking to trade my Tipple Bb flute with the added lip plate and offset finger holes, with the “flute sock”, cleaning rod and Tipple-Fajardo wedge. I bought it because I keep hearing Lunasa and other contemporary groups playing them, and I really wanted to try one, but now I realize that the stretch really is too much for me, much to my disappointment

So, I wanted to see if anybody would like to trade for a D flute, doesn’t matter necessarily who makes it, as long as it’s not Pakistani-made, or a Dixon flute… If I find no interest here, then I’ll be trading it with Doc at the flute store for a Tipple low D flute, but I wanted to see if anybody was interested here first.

God bless,
Joseph C.

I totally understand where you’re coming from. I used to have a Tipple Bb also which stressed my wrists and just wasn’t the best fit for me.

But, a Bb flute is a wonderful thing. If you can save a few pennies here and there, you can have an absolutely world class Bb flute by Patrick Olwell in around a year, and you definitely won’t regret it.

Food for thought…

Well, somewhat of a long story short, I’m still looking to trade the flute, but preferably if you really don’t need the flute you’d be willing to trade. I went back to my original plan, and somebody already bought it :frowning:

So, still looking to trade for a low D flute…
