On the CD Chieftains 4 Paddy Moloney plays a beautiful air called “Tip of the whistle”. From what I have read it´s not the original title, but Paddy Moloney couldn´t remember it at the time, so he came up with new title.
My memory may be playing tricks, but I seem to remember a group called “Na Casaidigh” playing this tune on a record some years ago.
They called it “Molly St. George”. I may still have it on tape somewhere. I’ll look it up , and get back to you.
