I’ve had to notate tunes in strange ways to get the tempi to play appropriately.
They’ve fixed that issue, mostly.
What ruins many of my searches is the fact that tons of tunes are listed in the wrong keys.
I just posted a B minor tune that previous versions, likewise in B minor, had listed as being in A Major. I think they’re people who don’t know what a tune’s key is, and use the key signature that generates the scale they need, and think “three sharps means A Major”.

If you like the tune transcription style of a particular member of thesession.org, the new ability in the utility to get all of the member’s submitted tune settings is something you may find very useful.
Tune settings are fetched in chronological order, with the most recently created setting (either submitted by the member or saved as a bookmark) appearing first.
If you would like to sort the fetched tune settings by tune name, style, or key, simply open the results in the ABC Transcription Tools and sort them as desired using the Sort Tunes by Tag feature on the ☰ dropdown menu.
