I love this city.

Where is that?! I’d love to go there!! I belong there!!

… don’t we all, eh?

So I guess he worked for the government.

I was in the academic section of central London a few weeks back to pick up some stuff I was buying from a departing student, and when I came out of the building I saw that on the wall. It was really hard not to start laughing.

Wow, they even have a Goodenough](http://www.goodenough.ac.uk/goodenough_club.html%22%3EGoodenough) Club!

“Goodenough College”

What’s their motto? “2.5 and Survive” ?

Goodenough College Rule No. 1: All students are expected to follow the Rule of Thumb.

In a town to the east of Montreal there’s a pet shop called, inexplicably, Twit Palace. I always wonder about the self-esteem of the people who work there.

LMAO!
Well, if it’s good enough, it must be Goodenough!
Should we be concerned when they change their name to Gotenough?

Graduates could call it “Gotenough”. (Drop-outs could call it “Hadenough”.)

I thought the dropouts were the Notgoodenoughs…

Those were the ones kicked out.

And the ones that can afford to go there are the Welloffenoughs…
the ones that get financial aid are the Poorenoughs

The ones who put out minimal effort to make a passing grade are the Doenoughs.

Wasn’t it only a couple of years ago that the Trustees of the venerable US institution Beaver College finally decided to turn their backs to 150 years of history and renamed themselves Arcadia?

Rednecks would call it “Goodnuff”.

Does that mean that streakers “Shownuff”?

Yeah. I seem to recall that it was a women’s college.

What a sad waste…

Goodenough College? Was that where the idea of “deferred success” first saw light?

Now, wait a minute! Do you know where that saying came from?
