To mark the 20th year since German reunification we hear a documentary “Pipemaker’s Journey” about the life story of Andreas Rogge who left East Germany and after dedicated study became one of the leading makers of the uilleann pipes.

I recorded this programme when it was repeated before as I missed the first time played on RTE 1 Radio.
It is a very interesting story about Andreas Rogge Journey to end up as one of the greats in Uilleann piping making today.
