The Results are in!

The Results have been counted for the Scientific Whistle Study, and the stats are as follows:

When asked the question, “Are you a Saxophonist turned Whistler?” people of C&F and Gaelic Crossings responded (77 votes, total):

22- yes
55- no

Therefore, almost 30% of all Whistlers (give or take a few) were Saxophonists at one time.

Interesting, I thought. I wonder what attracted them to the whistle…? The reed on the Saxophone? The air requirements? The 21 different keys? Will we ever know??? :boggle:

The accessibility, portability and cheapness – er, inexpensiveness – of the whistle.

The fact that this simple ‘tube’ contains enough music for a lifetime’s exploration.

I’m Irish

 All definite possibilities.
