If anyone hasn’t noticed, and doesn’t visit the whistle forum, the board is fast approaching 100,000 posts in this incarnation.
And, as another slight oddity, the flute forum has almost exactly 10% of the posts of the whistle forum.
Shall the meek inherit the title? Or am I merely urging yet another internecine war?

Well If they made an OT forum than I think we might be some competition for them whistlers. Even so they are a pretty active bunch. Maybe the number of post’s reflect the difficulty or at least amount of concentration it takes to play said instrument. Definately Whistle first than Flute than dead last Pipes.

Yeah, I can understand that progression. Started with whistle, have recently acquired a flute, and someday intend to do bodhran and uillean…

Since the afore(not)mentioned cocus cannon owner is both an avid flute player and the top poster on the chiffboard, I don’t know if that is quite true!
