The locked whistle thread

Dale –

That’s damned low of you to refer to me as “devil-may-care” regarding poisonous substances and then lock the thread. ANY thinking person who read what I wrote and understood it would know that isn’t true. You can lock the thread, I don’t argue with that, but your comments regarding me are cowardly.

You owe me an apology, mister.

I’ll decline. I didn’t refer to you in my post. Furthermore, the phrase “devil-may-care” refers to an attitude, not a person. Have a lovely day.

Dale

Get stuffed.

Just another day in whistle paradise!! :stuck_out_tongue:

Taking your advice, Mrs. Wisely and I went out for our anniversary to a restaurant in Mountain Brook, Alabama called “daniel george.” I had a fois gras (my desire to taste this overcame my nagging ethical objections) appetizer. The fois gras was served on bit of toast, the bread from which it was made I failed to recognize. It was served, surprisingly with grilled peaches and a cherry. The sauce was some kind of red wine reduction, but I’m not sure exactly what. Anyway, it was wonderful. Next year, I may return and have two, instead of an entree.

For my entree this evening I had a shark steak. I’ve not had shark more than once before, I don’t think, and it was quite good. Served with a sort of mexican cornbread/spoonbread and topped with blackeyed peas. And all on top of four stalks of my favorite vegetable, grilled asparagus, which was perfection.

It was a fine meal.

I was stuffed. Please, sir, I implore you. Do yourself a favor and do the same.

Ach, Dale… Please allow me to be the first (on this thread) to wish you and your wife the happiest of 26th anniversaries. The meal sounds delicious…
Be well.
Byll

Thanks. Much appreciated.

Dale

Happy 26th Dale! We just celebrated our 22nd.

Philo

'Grats Dale. We are on our way to our 26th as well this year.

We will celebrate your anniversary by playing a duet with our new Bleazey Flute and our Bleazey Low D.

The flute is “The Cat’s Meow” by the way.

We celebrated our 24th in May! I forget, but we probably went to Jack in the Box!

Steven, so y’all chose a Bleazy flute for Renee ~ tell us something about it, pleeeeeze…

M

Congrats on your 26th, Dale. We’ll reach 25th in December.

Dana

We’ll celebrate our second this fall. I know, though, that, barring death, we’ll make it to 26 and beyond.

Happy anniversary, Dale.

Hey, this is great. I get to congratulate you two twice.

Anthea and I are one year ahead of you. Ah those late seventies wedding suits.

Congrats Dale.

Since giving up cigarettes (quite a while ago) and alcohol (recently), I have a strong tendency to get stuffed frequently too. I don’t need an invitation; I’m happy to get stuffed entirely in my own initiative, alone and with pleasant company. I heartily recommend it although I don’t think my GP does.

congratulations Dale and everyone else. We just had our 25th in June also.

What a great idea for a party invitaion. Your invited to come over and get stuffed.

We celebrated our 30th last January. It doesn’t seem like we could be that old. The last several times we have gone out to eat I noticed that I’m pretty well stuffed eating bread and an appetizer, before the entre even arrives. I guess that I get stuffed easily.

Happy Anniversary, Dale!

Happy anniversary, Dale, congrads!

I think that you owe Mr. Dale Wisley an apology Trad-A-Non. Maybe in the future you should not speak of what you do not know. Maybe you should expand your vocabulary. (probably none of my concern, but I believe it needed to be said, no offense to anybody)

A whole controversial thread and I never had a post. I must be slippin.’
