Boyd,
Hows it going.
Birkin Tree are an Italian band. I’m sure the piper has posted on this board before. I have a CD of theirs. More I do not know without either looking at the intardnet or going home and reading the sleeve notes…

It looks like James O’Grady (and most probably is).

Yes, that’s James, playing his Williams D set.
More guitarists should wear orange trousers.

Is the tune she’s playing “Heather Breeze”?? If not, anyone got the name for that??
Sounds like Sliabh Russell followed by THE Congress reel.
Not sure of the 3rd tune off the top of me head

A few weeks ago I started collecting together assorted piping videos on Youtube in a “channel” I set up there. You can view those I found at http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=bagpipediscsdotcom as well as I few I have put up myself including Jerry O’Sullivan.

Just put this up finally. Had it for a while, but didn’t have the means for the converting. Mikie Smyth playing “The Downfall of Paris.”

Sorry, it’s kinda big, so it might take a little while to load for some.
In addendum, I just noticed the audio is off just a tad from the video. Sorry about this. If I get some free time in the next day or two, I’ll re-do it.
Very sweet, big fun for sure!!! Mikey’s got a nice touch with them thar regs alright! ![]()
Boyd - as I recall, the tune after The Congress Reel is one of James’ own.

I FORGOT about this video. It still knocks my socks off. Leo R. plays his regs on tune that I can’t rmember on "the King of Pipers"album that is very similar. Thanks for putting it up
Mikey Smyth - just awesome! Not surprised he’s wiping the sweat off at the end of it ![]()
