I am looking for a good arrangement of The Flogging Reel, I realize that it is hard, if not impossible, to play the full version on the whistle because it has a tricky key change, but I started arranging my own version, and then I accidentally deleated the only copy I had. Any help finding a good version would be appreciated.

All this key stuff which string accompanists probably need is way beyond me.
My simple piper-whistle-player’s mind wouldn’t even see what happens in The Flogger as a key change at all. The note which is bugging you is, I think, an F natural (?) one which occurs in the third part in fiddle versions. If you replace this with an F sharp you don’t get the key change but it works fine in the tune.
Actually, the version that I was using had a complete key change, going up an entire whole step. Causing fingering problems on fast runs that involved C naturals, and in some cases F naturals as well. But thanks for your input
Hey all these replies are great, and have helped me solve my original problem, however, I still am in need of the music again. Does anyone know where there is an ABC (or any other) file of The Flogging Reel online?
