Thanksgiving day funnies...

My nephew, Austin–7 years old–, was attentive, evidently, to the food preparations of his parents who were reserving portions of various dishes for the family vegans. i.e–“that’s the vegan sweet potatoes…that’s the vegan stuffing.”

Meanwhile, he set up a stack of alphabet building blocks by the front door to spell out “Happy Thanksgiving.”

My brother Jim–looking at the backside of the stacked blocks-- said, “Austin, that doesn’t say ‘Happy Thanksgiving,’ that says ‘BRGPP BYRGHHRJJSTN’”

Austin replied “No, you’re looking at the wrong side. That side’s in vegan.”

And now they’re on their way back to Vega in Lyra. That’s what I call an extended family.
