At one of my jobs there’s this pothead. Well, today he came to work stoned, which is not unusual. What is unusual is that he was talking about Canada for my entire shift. He was going on and on about how Canada is a conspiracy. The very concept of Canada, I mean. He said that Canada is an attic and people live up there and control the whole house. It was so strange and I had no idea why he was talking about Canada until I read this post and remembered that it’s Thanksgiving! Now it makes a little bit (but just a little bit) more sense!

I don’t know which is worse: that you said it or that I got it.
I’ve heard variants of that statement a million times and I’ve never gotten it.
What’s really scary is that I’m sure the first (and only) time I ever came across that phrase was in a C&F newsletter.
I thought it was Dale just going off on one of his ice crystal people tirades.
Or whatever they were called.
You know the ones, that always interrupted his messages.
(They’re probably going to intercept this one and you’ll never read it.)
I think I first heard it from Telegram Sam in the chatroom a few years ago.
