what software do you use to encode the MP3s for Clips&Snips? What settings?

Goldwave from goldwave.com. It’s shareware, about $45. Works great. Settings: 16000k 40 (I’m at work and don’t have it in front of me. Email me and I’ll be more specific this eve.) The program has great editing functions. I have to boost the signal on a lot of the files I receive or you’d be hearing a lot of hiss on top of the whistle playing.
