Take a look at this.
I think I might get it and try it. Though four that price I don’t think it will be very good. Is it just me, or do all the holes look like they have the same diameter?

Yeah, I’ve see a lot of those pop up on eBay. That looks like the same kind of whistle that is being marketed by Mid East Mfg. for around $36. I would like to know how good they are. It could be one of those things where it’s a hunk of junk or it could be one of those rare undiscovered deals that everyone hasn’t caught on to yet. Hah hah hah! I’m sure they are imported from either India or Pakistan. I don’t want to be the guinea pig. You?
I bought one a couple years ago. They are always on EBay, so don’t rush to buy one or anything. I think they’re made in India. The holes
are almost all the same size, and the same distance apart, which makes it a pretty tough reach. I still can’t cover all the holes (to play a
D) very well. For the same price, you can get a Jubliee](http://www.tinwhistles.us/pr-lowdrev.htm%22%3EJubliee) practice Low-D which has an easier reach and better sound.
I wouldn’t mind, but I can’t do a profesional review.
These have had mixed reviews. Follow the links in the discussion here and you’ll see:

I have a Low G and a B that I bought for $8 each (from Amazon.com) just to see what they were like. They may have a few interesting tones here and there, but not very good overall. I’d recommend either saving for something better, or going with the Jubilee whistle.
I would recommenda Jubilee over any thing from Pakistan if you have seen what I have then you would know why, look at all the cheap Bagpipes ebay has, I once bought one to try to fix up but that turned out to be impossible. I have heard that there is a good one every once in a while but not usually.
Well I don’t want it to play regularly unless I get one of the good one’s by chance, and even then I probably wouldn’t play it regularly anyway. I just wanted to see how they played for my self. If I do get one of the sucky one’s I’ll just cut it and make a different key whistle instead of trying to fix it. I might send it to Jerry to to see if he can’t put some master tweakage on it.
I have one of these in brass - it plays. It is in tune with itself and has a very quiet tone that is nothing spectacular, just OK. I can play it without disturbing anyone. It is a real stretch if you don’t have large hands. I use a sorta piper grip with my right hand on this whistle and I do have fairly large hands.
I have trouble recommending it, but for the money it has been fun.
The whistle in discussion was the first low whistle i bought. It was inexpensive, and i didn’t have money for a more expensive brand. Turned out to be a total waste of money. It was out of tune, and it would jump into the other octave to easily. Avoid like the plague and save your money. I don’t know if this is your first low whistle. However, like others have mentioned, I think you will be happier in the long term with a Jubilee or somthing else. I got a Cheiftain and have been really pleased with it. I should have just saved my money and started with it.(But LWHOA had set in) So much easier to play that the one off ebay. I have heard good things about Dixon’s low d. They are not that expensive, and should you decide its not the whistle for you it would be much easier to sell than the whistle your looking at.
I guess I got lucky with my whistle - I had the other experience with one of those cheapo Pakistan flutes. It doesn’t even play a scale and is totally useless, well, it may start a fire!
I guess the message is “Buyer beware” with these items on eBAy.
