Have you seen it? What’d you think?

I saw it this evening and liked it very much. It’s hard to follow at first… there are numerous plots going on at the same time, jumping back and forth, but if you pay attention carefully things start to come together. Very tense. George Clooney is excellent.

It’s amazing (and sickening) to think these plots and counterplots and manipulations and deals are going on in the world all around us and we know nothing about them. The world is a complicated (and completely corrupt) place.

Haven’t seen it, but saw a “making of” documentary. Scary stuff, for sure. I’ll wait for the DVD to come out.

I’ve not seen it, but have heard interviews on two different radio programs with the director,I think, and the other was with the real life spy agent who wrote the book the movie is based on.
Both said it is supposed to be confusing and not really understandable. I wanted to see it until I heard the interviews.

You definitely have to keep your ears and eyes open…have some patience, though, because it does start to come together.

I prefer to think of it as almost completely corrupt.

haven’t seen it, but if George is in it that’s good enough for me! (I went to the same school as George did for several years, but he’s three years younger then me… his character in “Brother Where Art Though” was dead on his personality growing up…)
