Has anyone heard any information regarding Swannanoa.for this summer? Their website still shows the 2003 schedule. Does anyone know when they normally post the new schedule?
I heard that one of the summer workshops wasn’t going to happen this year, but I can’t remember which one.

It’s happening the second week in July. Mike Rafferty will not be teaching the flute class. Health issues maybe? His abled assistant from the past few years, Mike Casey will be teaching the class in his place with an emphasis upon the flowing Galway style of play. Registration has begun.

Mike Rafferty is listed on the staff of the Catskills Irish Arts Week, July 11-16. (See http://www.east-durham.org/irishartsweek/index.htm.) Might this be why he’s not doing Swannanoa this year? Even for The Great Rafferty it’s hard to be in two places at once…
