A the moment The Irish Dance Company & The Traditional Celtic Orchestra are performing in The Netherlands.
While in a place called Doetichem, some musicians had their instruments stolen.
Among which a full set of pipes.
I don’t know the full details of the set, only that the main maker died in 1990 and it has a froment chanter.
The reg keys supposedly are silver (colour).
I thought i’d put it on here to increase the chance of them being found.
If anyone might run into this set of pipes please contact the production agency asap.

Small detail, the piper apparently contacted some well known maker for a solution and got naught.
He then contacted Marc van Daal who promptly loaned him his own set of pipes.
Rick, a picture and more details on the set will be key.
For everyone, Shawn Folsom has a note in his pipecase that pays a No-Questions-Asked reward (a modest one $300, I think) for the pipes return. Great idea!
Years ago, a piper’s pipes (Highland and Irish pipes) were stolen. He contacted all of the pawn shops in the area (a lot in Chicago). Sure enough, they were pawned, the pawn broker had been alerted and paid for them via check, stop-payment on check, and all pipes were returned.
I got a telephone call the pipes were on tele and when i watched the piper was explaining how his set was stolen and the description above was all he said.
I also noticed he had Marc’s set of pipes in his hands at that time! 0_o
There has been a “reward” of 2500 euros put on it’s save return btw.
And Kevin, it may well be a Johnny Burke set, sounds plausible enough.
