Went to my local Wal-Mart today looking for Sticky-tack to do some tweaking. What I found was something called HandiTak. It’s yellow and made by Super Glue. It says that it’s non-toxic but to avoid prolonged skin contact. Has anyone used this brand and is it safe for whistle use? Thanks for any info.
Yup… Same stuff, different color. Really you are just looking for some space filler for this whistle tweak. Sticky tak is easy to work but, any kind of putty/filler should do. I’ve even dripped candle wax into a Generation head and gotten the same result, it just takes a little more patience and a thin sharp blade to trim the fill flush with the end of the windway… works a treat!
As for the safety… DON’T EAT THE STICKY TAK. (blue or yellow)

And here I’ve been snacking on it for years. The blueberry is a tasty after-dinner treat, while the lemon makes a nice apertif to cleanse the palate.
Oh, OK, I’m kidding. Do what Scott says. Don’t eat the sticky tack.
