Source for Latex tubing?

The blow pipe on my set is made of yellow latex tubing, 1/2” ID. The blow pipe is a tiny bit too short and I would need an extra inch or two (when I reach for the bass reg G key, the blow pipe often pops out of the bag.

I’ve search online but can’t find any 1/2” yellow latex tubing - the biggest I can find is 3/8”. Would anyone know where I could find some 1/2”?

Is the rubber hose connected to the bag or to a more usual wooden blowpipe/valve set up?

I found this in an old thread:

is it something like that?

Next question is, obviously, does the replacement need to be yellow or would other materials/colours be OK?

Yes, that’s the set-up (without the jubilee clips).

The colour doesn’t matter as it’s covered in a leather “sleeve”.

The stuff in the photo looks like plumbing pipe, it’s sold here as Qual-pex in various sizes. It’s not particularly flexible so maybe I have it wrong.

Yours is an unusual sort of arrangement.

I use a reinforced plastic hose yo connect bellows to blowpipe. The local hardware shop sells it (around the corner from your avatar pic, as it happens). This sort of stuff:

Works well and it’s cheap so you can experiment with various lengths, if need be.

Yes, I can get that in any hardware, but I find that the latex is more flexible and comfortable. I’ll keep hunting. Thanks.

David Quinn uses this stuff:

I ended up buying this much cheaper version, which I see comes in 1/2” as well" (K&Q sets use 3/4”):

Mcmaster Carr has 1/2” ID available in a 5ft length for $10.50.

Thanks for the helpful suggestions. I placed an order with McMaster-Carr. Looks like they have exactly what I was after.
