A little off-topic but where does one buy the Lon Dubhs? C&F lists the only US distributor as Whistle & Drum but they don’t list them on their website.
Whistle and drum are the only ones, but the maker Pat O’dwyer works in the medical industry creating body parts for operations, hips ans alike, so I am guessing that they only get made every now and again, Pat is based in Ireland but sells through whistle and drum, I frequent west cork and kerry quite a bit, and would be nice to have a blow on some dubhs at Pats workshop, and pick one out in the flesh, I got my one from Mitch at Ozwhistles, but if Blaine gets them in I would guess I would have to have it shipped to the Uk, if I had any problems with it, it would have a long old journey back to Pat.
