I’m afraid international exchange rates and postage costs have caught up with me so this new regime of prices will have to come into effect. I won’t do it immediately but, you’ve got 'til the the end of the month at the old prices.

Syn head.. US$35
Bodies to fit A to E.. US$7 each
Postage.. US$8 per order

Cheers, Syn.

Still the best bang for the buck in the whistle world.

are there any lows available?

Gee Erle. I just looked at your avatar, and it looks like you’re using a perfectly good whistle to beat your bodhrain???

Maybe Erle is multitasking?

Hmmmmm… I wondered when I saw what you paid in postage vs. what I paid you for the Syn set you have sent me (and which I love).

Time to get the “keep 'em with me” D/C set I was thinking about.

Erle is working on a low d in brass. Two tours are either completed or nearing completion right now. I hope everyone that has participated will give him feedback so he can get the real deal out soon.

Is there a Syn website, or email address?
How do you order one of those good looking whistles?

Rod

Rod, you can PM or email Erle on one of the links on his post at the beginning of the thread. If you like wood, you may want to check out his Lancewood Syns pictured in a post I put up yesterday titled "Let him who is Synless . . . " His wood whistles are extra special

The one i tried was very good. Beautiful full sound.

Thaks Alespa; I can only wonder why I didn’t think of that myself.

The touring Syn low D is indeed a very nice whistle. It took me (a beginner) about a week to get used to it. Then I got a beautiful sound from it. I have been waiting for some kind of announcement of the new Syn low D.

Ron

Hey, if the syn is touring I would love to try it out. Someone send me an email or pm so we can work out where to send it. I have always been an avid supporter of Mr. Syn.

Erle’s email address is:

synwhistles@yahoo.com.au

He can also be reached via PM on this and the GC forums.

One of the whistles (the one that found its way to the UK side of the pond) is no longer touring and is residing with its new owner.

The low D tours are finished and I have decided not to go into production on that model. I’m working on a smaller bore version which may make them more universally acceptable. Tours will be on soon.
