slightly OT: looking for artwork

I’m looking for bagpipe related artwork to get ideas for a tattoo. My father is a piper and I’d like to get a tattoo to honor him. (he’s still alive BTW…but without him I’d never have fallen in love with Celtic music)

So…I’m looking for images that are creative and unusual…bold and colorful. I don’t want pictures that are cartoony. I’m not expecting to get any responses but, I’ll appreciate whatever I get.

It might not be what you’re looking for but I think a diagram type image would make a cool tattoo.

Very creative! I’m more interested in bold, “new skool” style art though. I really appreciate the links however. I don’t think I’ve ever seen pipers(or concertina players for that matter) incorporated into Knotwork.

Since new skool tattoo artists can do just about any image you could probably get any picture you wanted done.

This book has nice, colorful images of a bagpiper.
