I’ve got a Silkstone Alloy D (6 hole version) that I recently aquired from another board member.
It’s really a great whistle. It seems in tune, plays easily in both octaves and both octaves are well balanced (a rare thing). It’s not the most complex sounding whistle I’ve tried …pretty pure sounding, not much (if any) chiff or overtones.
I’d like to trade it for an Overton Soprano D, a Burke Pro Session Brass D, or a Sindt D.
send me an email if you’re interested. Thanks.
