Seth Hamon? chanters

Anybody heard of this maker? Reviews? Thanks in advance.

Mike

Never heard of him before. A Google and Yahoo search didn’t turn anything up either. Guesses as to where he’s located?

I think he’s from Fort Worth, TX

New guy here , and I will give you a little info on Seth Hamon. He is a piper from FT worth and has recently taken up the uilleann pipes.Seth has made several sets of smallpipes and GHPs from different materials and is getting quite good at it.He along withe myself and another piper from FT worth are in the process of making Uilleann pipes and are using Texas Ebony, a great wood from south Texas as a test to see how it will work out,but back to Seth, he is trying to make a very good set of pipes at a reasonable cost an I think you will like his product.

Sounds interesting. Can (or will) you post some pictures of Seth’s pipes and provide any sound files you may have?

Here’s one anyway. It was listed as a whole practice set just a couple of days ago but now looks to have been pulled and parted out instead. Hmmmm:

:astonished: The set was not parted out, it was sold as a whole on ebay with the buy now option.. Their is still a chanter top on ebay…

OK could be - but I thought the auctions would still show for a month or so even after the item sold. Is this somehow different if someone chooses the ‘buy it now’ thing? Because this chanter top is all that showed up under his name in a search.

I was the buyer of that set. After emiling back and forth with Seth, I decided to jump on them. They arrive on Monday and I’m looking forward to getting them.

Cheers

Mike
