Set of Shaw's and a Chieftain for sale/swop

Hi Folks,

I have a set of Shaw whistles and a Chieftain for sale or swop. I would really prefer to swop for a Low D of some sort but open to offers.

The whistles are:

Shaw Low D
Shaw Low A
Shaw High D
Chieftain non-tunable low F

These Shaw’s are as bought and hardly used (total of 1/2 hour play time). I really find the breath requirements too much for me. The A whistle holes are slightly off fipple centre but are in line with each other. They play just fine and I have not tried any tweaking on them.

The Chieftain is of the usual standard and has been used for a total of about 4 hours. I am in two minds about selling this, but it just does not get the air time that a D would and it needs a loving home. It is in really good condition with no dings but has a blemish near the fipple that does not affect the playing at all (I got it like that from Lark in the Morning).

I can post photos if you like, just pm me if interested and give me an offer. My preferences as I said would be for a low D or else something in wood - actually I am open to anything within the same price range :wink:

I have swaped whistles with Ian in the past. Don’t worry about it comming from South Africa. He puts it in a very strong tube that you could jump on and not bend. Also you get some realy cool postage stamps. :slight_smile:
