Session in Helsingborg tonight at Pub Ro in the north Harbour 7 pm. We’ll drive up from Lund with pipes, flute & fiddle. First “autumn” session. Se yes. Pixxy, Markus, Maria, Pär are you going?

Hello Markus & Maria - well you didn’t miss much I’m afraid. It was good to see to see Pär, but the session was very much a singing session 
. Which meant that those of us - Pär on pipes/flute, Mats on fiddle, Michael on flute, Helena on fiddle, myself on pipes/flute/Hammond organ etc. who wanted to play tunes had to hold back, or as usually happened everyone dying to play jumped in at the same time with their own tune just as a song was finishing, resulting in confusion 
, missed chances at starting a tune, and then another song starting up instead or a Swedish tune.
Nothing wrong with Swedish tunes but I thought it was a hardcore Irish session in Helsingborg. When we arrived though there was a geezer with a double bass 
, and later in the evening another geezer turned up with a flamenco box that he sat on and played. They were both good but at the same time “warning signs”. Now we know anyway that it is an “open” session as regards types of music played, which is ok.
Quite a few Swedish/Ale Möller type tunes were played which is maybe common for this session (our first time at this session by the way). Fair enough, it’s their session, we were just guests, and they were friendly, the beer was free, and it was nice to see all the sailing boats in the marina, and the rich people hanging out

heh, I don’t even get to sessions in Copenhagen much lately.
So forget about sessions abroad 
Would be nice to see you guys again though.
