Is anyone else having problems with C and F tonight? I got a page with a bunch of code on it and then it tried to get me to download something. Couple of people in chat having the same thing happen.

Yeah, I had a similar thing happen just a little bit ago. Clicked to view a topic and instead of pulling up the posts as it’s supposed to it pulled up a box that asked if I wanted to download from that location and save to disk. Figured it was my computer having a nervous breakdown again, so I just got off line and rebooted. Now maybe it wasn’t my computer after all.

Blackbeer came into chat and said they’d had the same thing happen to them.
I keep getting “illegal operation” messages, which crash Netscape. Normally I only have this problem when Javascript is running (and then only on Javascript-intensive boards), but I just checked, and it’s turned off.

See thread on private messages. Maybe something bigger is up, although Serp seemed to solve the problem I was having there.
I’ve had a few funny moments with C&F lately but none as bad as those you’ve been mentioning.
