Are there any other places that I should be aware of that sell second hand pipes other than NPU and Ebay??
Also what does L&M stand for regarding bags?

There are some used bagpipes sites that occasionally get UP listings. The good thing there is not as many people know about them and you have a better chance of getting a good deal on a used set. You can find them by searching from google or some other such search engine.

L&M is a brand of leather bag, highest quality. In GHB you can start with an L&M bag, use it every day for 20-years, season it like you should and have no trouble. In UP an L&M bag should last generations.

Hmm…how about a “rebuilt” set by Tim Britton?
Not a “second-hand” in the most strict sense, but 
I don’t think it would be a risk getting from him, say, even a rebuilt full set.
This is sort of OT but does anyone have a picture of his rebuilt set (if possible a half or a full) ?[/list]
