Greetings all!

On behalf of the board of the Northeast Tionol, I’m pleased to announce that our staff of instructors is almost complete! Mark your calendars for another great weekend of classes, sessions, concerts, and general craic at Gavin’s Golden Hill Resort in East Durham, New York.

Uilleann Piping instructors: from Ireland: Brian McNamara and Maire Ni Ghrada. From the U.S: Pat Hutchinson of Rhode Island, Bill Ochs of NYC, and Sean Ryan of Chicago. Reedmaking: Bruce Childress.

Fiddle instructors: Kathleen Collins and Cleek Schrey

Registration will open in early June – this year, with an online option! – and more details about our new and improved format will be announced as time goes on and the big weekend approaches. Keep an eye on the website:

are you still doing scholarships this year, if so, i would like to get on that, as I’m a 16 year old piper from the Philadelphia area, and got one last year, they are really a great thing and saved me a lot of money!
