Rudall for auction

This Rudall, though misnumbered, is up for auction Aug 13. Seems to be in very good shape and likely will play quite nicely.

It’s a Rudall, Rose, Carte & Co. They say #5175, but that cannot be accurate based on the name of the firm and likely address (20 Charring Cross). My educated guess is 6175, which would fit, based on my catalogue research and data of Rudall flutes.

Looks like there’s a bit of a nick out the blowing edge of the embouchure - I wonder would that be easy to fix?

I had an email from the auctioneer last week confirming the 6175 serial number.
