Rudall Carte F on the bay

I think its an F. I remember another in this style years ago. I think that one was high pitched.
maybe Dave Migoya had one like it for a short while?

Looks a bit short to me…I’d rather think of something in the A/Bb/B area.

indeed i did, but it was a two-piece body with no-slide headpiece.

The first one listed…it was #1916 in a different serial number sequence than the regular 8key flutes.

as i recall it played pretty well, too.

but i agree, the ebay flute appears to be Bb band pitch…but w/o a full length measure, hard to say.

Yup, Bb, probably HP as no slide, and seemingly Ebonite.

I think your right it is a Bb. I had remembered that F Dave had as being two piece.
I didn’t realize it was on Terry’s site. I recall seeing it on the old Fyfer Restorations years ago.

I bet this plays nice big, holes even if high pitch. The little Metzler I have plays great.
