I’ve been listening to his CD “The Wynd You Know” alot recently and the guy is amazing! Ok, so he’s mostly a piper(with magical regulators) but he busts out the whistle and the flute on a few tracks. Does anyone know what kind of whistle he plays? I’d really love to know so I can save my pennies(I mean paychecks) and buy one!
BTW…if you’ve never listened to his stuff you’ve gotta check it out.
When I was younger I thought that Spider Stacey from the Pogues was amazing at the whistle and always wanted to know what he played. I later found out it was just a Generation and tons of reverb.
But I don’t doubt this guy’s good, get your whistle man.
Pogues are definately worth listening to aye.
But yeah, that’s the great thing about whistles; you can spend hundreds of dollars on one if you want, but by no means do you need to.
