My apologies to anyone why may work there but two GHB will be in tune with each other before I shop in Walmart.
Walmart closed a store in Jonquière, Québec last year because the employees managed to form a union. Firstly Walmart mounted a campaign of intimidation to prevent the union from getting accreditation.
Then it challenged the unionās accreditation before the labour board.
When it lost there, it challenged the decision of the labour board to the superior court.
When it lost there, it announced it was going to shut the store. Then it shut the store. ![]()
So Walmart can keep their reedmaking supplies. Iāll order mine from Nick Whitmer. ![]()

Years ago I used to work for Target as a lift-truck operator, and we would always refer to Wal-Mart as the āEvil Empireā⦠as did most of the Target management staff. There was some serious rivalry there.
My favourite was the term used by the many small mom-and-pop hardware stores who were forced out of business by Home Depot. The called it āAgent Orangeā. ![]()

I have been using a two-ply linen cord which is not waxed. I use straight black wax with it, no bees wax added. I have just gotten some hemp single ply which is stronger than linen. I make up black-waxed two-ply lengths for binding reeds. The yellow āhempā sold by GHB suppliers is linen also, and has been since the 1930ās when it was substituted for hemp, due to marijuana prohibition. Hemp wonāt rot, flax will. Now the GHB players are waxing the āhempā to keep it from rotting. I bought a 2 pound plus ball of hemp which I may offer 1 or 2 oz. spools off of, when I can find some way to wind off small amounts. I have seen real hemp on antique pipes. When I figue out how to make small amounts available, I will advertise it as "hemp for wrapping joints
