Why do you think its in error? Peter Browne, producer of The Late Session and Céilí House on RTÉ Radio1, is an excellent uilleann piper. He’s also a cousin of Ronan’s. He was the original piper with the Bothy Band. I had the very good fortune to meet him at the last Chris Langan Weekend in TO, and thought him the best of the visiting pipers/instructors.

I didn’t say anything that could be taken as meaning that Peter Browne is not a good piper. However, if you go the website it says that Cran are playing on October27th, and on the same day it has Desi Wilkinson and Peter Browne down as tutors. Seeing as it’s Ronan Browne and not Peter Browne who’s in Cran, I figured they’d got their Brownes mixed up.
Also, if you go to http://www.madfortrad.com/bothy.htm it says that Paddy Keenan was the original piper with Bothy Band - I always thought that Peter Browne filled in for Keenan on those occasions when he could not fulfill touring obligations.
