And this one plays too!

Are you sure?

The Flute is made of metal …

Unobtanium, no doubt.

… with a plastic mouthpiece.

O RLY? Interesting.

It is 10.5" Long.

Also interesting.

It is a playable flute however it is [not meant to be played].

Uh, OK.

Hole arrangement, head/fipple, conical bore, length … So is anyone interested in buying a gold painted Sweetone D with a metal band and a $39 tassel? :really:

Well, the box is kind of neat.

I guess a Copeland brass D + tassel that would actually look like the Ressikan flute might cost a wee bit more …

OK, look.

I’m going to nip this in the bud.

I’m VERY busy, and I’m not interested in doing any tweaked Ressikan Flutes. So don’t even ask.

I hope that’s clear enough.

Best wishes,
Jerry

Yer breakin’ my heart Jerry!

Hey, Jerry- don’t work too hard, we want you around for a very long time. OK?

Is there a place to buy Mr. Tumnus’ whistle? Will it make the images appear in the fire?

What about just the tassels?

ETA: Ahem. As I just now realize what sort of comments are going to follow this. I take no responsibility.

Oh, dear. So many ways this could go wrong.

Best wishes,
Jerry

Picard’s fault

This is a lot different than the actual prop displayed in Vegas when they had the Star Trek Experience. I remember that one having holes which were all the same size. I don’t think it was gold either.

Maybe Jerry could make a copy of the real deal

My favorite thing about Star Trek is when they keep going around saying, “May the Force Be with You.” That, and “Luke, I am your Father.”

You can likely fill all your need at the Tassel Depot. Yeah, really!

No discount for buying tassels in pairs that I can discover.

Aw. Just think how many star trek fans that are out there just drooling for a Ressikan flute. Hm…perhaps a whistle maker can do a better job.

There you go! That’s the problem. Drooling and whistles do not get a long well.

Whistle makers have offered them and the market seems to have collapsed or rather it did not really exist. You may have missed your window of opportunity.

At least they didn’t label it steampunk.

EDIT: I remembered the name for this: Non-cycling

And I won’t be making any wooden ones. So there.
