I started making reeds in 1971 because there were no other reed makers that I knew of, but later on I met Tom Busby and he started me down the road. It took me several hundred reeds to get it right. However I am still learning
from other makers and their methods.
Other good makers: Benedict Kohler, Paddy Keenan, Ted Anderson, Bill Hannerman, Tim Britton… there are definitely many more.
