I have been trying to reed this chanter for some time now and finally get everything in tune except the low d. It is 50 cents flat and their is no hard d. I’m not sure what to do. I don’t really mind starting over as long as I might have a different plan of action that seems promising. Whether starting over or keep fiddling around with this one might someone point me in the right direction? Thank You!
How does your back D sound? If it is also flat or sinking, it might be that you scraped too much off the bottom of the V.
