I’m looking for a good how-to guide for reed adjustments… you know, one of those How To for Dummies booklets, or website that lists all the problems or conditions and the solutions to reed adjustment, etc. Has Koehler/Quinn put together something along those lines? (This might have been a good appendix to The Piper’s Despair.) I should learn this stuff, and be able to make slight adjustments without fear.
I reckon Dave Hegartys book is your best bet. And there’s always the pdf download on swaup.org

There are also some good tips on Seth Gallager(sp?) and Dave Daye’s websites. The booklet that comes with Daye’s do it yourself reed kit is also quite informative.
