Doc, forgive me if I’m wrong, or if my mind is just going south (very possible). It seems to me that the old site made it easy to distinguish between new instruments and used/pre-owned instruments on offer. But I don’t see any way to tell the difference on the new site, and clearly there’s a mix of both new and used. Maybe some sort of tag in the descriptions might be helpful?
When you click on the flute, the condition is listed under the picture in the more detailed description. I’ll see if I can figure out how to make the type more prominent. It is a bit small.

Still, it might be helpful to see at a glance which instruments are new and which are used when scanning the descriptions and prices at the top level. That’s going to be a “first criterion” for some customers. And for new visitors, from your main page it’s not clear that you’re offering a mix of new and used instruments (only new instruments are mentioned explicitly).
Of course, those of us who know you and love you can figure this out.
The Sweetheart Flute in Padauk has no key information associated with it, I assume it is in D, right? If there is any additional information on this one I would love to hear it. It’s not far out of my budget and I know Sweet’s are high quality!
This was formerly my flute and I’ll vouch for it as a solid player. It got replaced in my arsenal with a McGee GLP and I didn’t see the need to hang on to a second D flute. I can’t conceive of how you could do any better for that money. You are welcome to PM me with any questions.
I took the plunge and purchased the Padauk Sweetheart today! I can’t wait, after speaking with MikeS and browsing the Sweetheart site, I know I’ll get a quality instrument in a beautiful wood. I’m glad your shop’s site is up and I’m especially glad you offered such a great deal!
