Re: Bleazey boxwood

I’m finally starting to be able to get that hard edge out of the Bleazey in the lower to mid-second range, so those who think that boxwood is only capable of soft sounds may be in for a pleasant suprise…it’s still not totally reliable yet but it’s more a function of the person holding the flute, I believe.

I don’t recall anyone saying boxwood is only capable of soft sounds…

You must be hallucinating again Parky

, remember to breathe when you’re playing that thing, will ya?

Loren

I also find boxwood more than happy to bark.

But, I have yet to find another wood (maker, make and model being equal) that can be as warm and wonderful as boxwood. I love that stuff.

I love my Boxwood Flute. Never have I played a Flute with a more lucious tone.
