Just passing along word that flutemaker Robert Bigio is seeking to sell one of his Rudall & Rose flutes, one with extended foot down to Bb (all the keys are operated by RHpinkey with rollers…kind of cool!).
I get nothing on this sale, just doing a favor for Robert.
Rudall didn’t make many wood flutes with a Bb-foot (has 5 keys on the foot joint). I’m aware of just 3, but not more than a dozen were likely made I think.
