Anyone for an Aebi R&R?

I found the following at http://www.folker.de, a German folk magazine. Quote:

Irische Querflöte, neu, perfekt. Zust. - Modell Rudall & Rose, aus Cocusholz, mit 6 Klappen (blockmounted), und allen Blocks ( für C# u.C), von Tom Aebi, zu verkaufen.
VB 2000 Euro.

For those who do not read German:
Irish flute by Tom Aebi, new, perfect condition, R&R, cocuswood, 6 block-mounted keys (blocks for C/C# also included). For 2000 Euro (app. 2000 $). Please note that I am in no way related to the seller nor do I know him. I just picked up the ad and thought maybe some of you would be interested.

I found that Tom Aebi is hardly ever mentioned here. He made most parts of my UP set when he used to be with pipemaker Andreas Rogge. A friend of mine plays one of his Pratten-style flutes. Lovely instrument as far as I can tell (I’m no flute expert).
Thought I’d let you know.

That’s a good price for what is undoubtedly a very good flute. Tom Aebi is well known in Europe but much less so in North America. Friends of mine in Europe who own or have played his flutes rank him as one of the top flute makers in the world.

I hope to have an interview with Tom up on my web site in a few months; he agreed to do one and now we just have to follow through with it!
