Howdy, there ladies’n’gents! It’s the noob-lurker with another question!
The folks over at GC answered what they could, and now I wanted to see what other info I could get. Sorry if it’s kind of a lame question, but here goes!
I found a Clarke C and an Oak D (and a Clarke tutor w/cassette!) in the local Goodwill. (Talk about lucky!) I recalled that there was a change in the Clarke logo some time ago, so I tried to look mine up and see which one it was. Turns out I can’t find this logo on the internet. (As far as I know.)
The two logos I find constantly are the logos listed on the whistleshop’s page about Clarkes. Original Clarke Tinwhistle The Original and “New-style”.
I’m posting a couple pictures here. Sorry about the bad quality. (Bad lighting.

I’ve also noticed that the diamonds are on the holes and not between them like I see in most pictures. There’s also more stripes between the C and the first diamond and the last diamond and the end of the whistle. (Kinda hard to see in the picture. Again, sorry.)
My question is… How old is this whistle? It shows a little wear and tear. They both had bite marks on 'em and the Clarke’s paint was chipped off at the top, so I covered it with some black tape to match it.
Besides that, they’re in good condition. I’m thinking they’ve either hardly been played, or they’re fairly new.
Thanks in advance!
PS: I’ll try to get better pictures if it’ll help.
